Aquarelle House
Located in Ephraim Wisconsin on several wooded acres, Aquarelle House is the perfect blend of getting away from it all, and being only steps from the best the village has to offer. This home has both The Anderson Pond Preserve across the street, and Anderson’s Dock right down a quiet foot path. Our tranquil, natural setting, on a wooded bluff overlooking Eagle Harbor, offers Breathtaking views. We have very easy access to the town, including coffee shops, restaurants, galleries, beaches, and The Peninsula State Park. And the sunsets from our gorgeous deck? Wow.
About this space – We are so excited to open our family home to you! (Have I mentioned the view from the deck??) This private house is perfect for families or small groups looking to enjoy the best of the Door Peninsula. The cozy, yet generously sized wood paneled mid-century home can sleep up to 5 people. Our stunning backyard retreat includes a two-level deck and an outdoor grill area. We have used local, Door County art to decorate our house, including our father’s work.
Guest Access – Guests will have full, private access to the two-story home, deck, and backyard. There is a fully outfitted kitchen and dining room with service for 8, as well as a gorgeous outdoor dining area. This open-concept home also offers both a fireplace room and a den. One ‘primary’ bedroom with a king bed and full ensuite bath. There are two additional lovely bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with one twin. There is a charming shared bathroom for these two rooms which includes a tub. We provide washer and dryer, AC, and heat. For your cars, we have two easy-access parking lots. We also have an office/reading room if you want quiet time or need to get some work done. Your stay will include complimentary WIFI, and parking.
Other Things to Note – As much as we would like it to be, our home is not wheelchair accessible due to multiple levels and staircases. Likewise, as much as we love animals, no pets please. Also, there is an entirely separate building on the lot. This was our dad’s art studio and is now kept private by our family. No one lives there, but we do use the studio from time to time. Finally, our beautiful Door County fieldstone fireplace is not functional currently
