Apple Orchard House

The Apple Orchard House is a 2020 new construction home built in the modern farmhouse style, located just 2 miles south of Fish Creek, and 3.5 miles north or Egg Harbor in the heart of Door County Wisconsin vacation land. Our home sits on a 15 acre old growth apple orchard.  The land is a mix of fields, woods and orchards with a private hiking trail to explore. We have no neighbors so all the privacy you need, yet close to town.  Guests can walk country roads 1 mile to Peninsula Players Theater to watch the sunset, or ride your bikes on back roads (Cottage Row) into The iconic harbor village of Fish Creek for dinner, shopping or the beach. The Cherry Hut farm market & Bridge-Up Brewery is located 200 yards behind us, featuring outside fire tables and live music until 9pm on most weekends in the season.

The Modern Farmhouse:
The home has 4 bedrooms on 2 levels, and can sleep 10 people in beds. There is a king in the primary main floor bedroom and a queen in the other.  The 2 bedrooms upstairs have one bedroom with 2 sets of bunks: Twin/Twin, and Twin over Full.  The second upstairs bedroom has 2 twin size log beds.  4 of our beds are new memory foam mattresses (King, Queen, & the 2 twin log beds. Both floors have bathrooms, The first level has a full bathroom with a tub/shower, while the upstairs is a three-quarter bath with a custom tiled shower.

The farmhouse features both a sunrise and sunset covered porch on each side of the house. Enjoy your morning coffee on our sunrise porch on the backside of the home, and have cocktails on our sunset porch on the front side of this farmhouse.  There are Smart TVs in the living room and king bedroom to stream your media.  A premier Netflix account with no commercials is included. We now have Starlink internet service with WiFi in the house.  There is a fire pit outside with adirondack chairs, and a gas grill to use.

We are located within 5 miles of five golf courses and many shops, restaurants, taverns, beaches and parks.

Floor Plan Description

Enter from the front porch into an open concept space consisting of the living room, dining area and the kitchen towards the back of the home. Just to your right is a King bedroom followed by a short hallway with a bathroom and then a Queen bedroom. Towards the back of the kitchen are the stairs leading to the second floor. Once on the second floor landing to your left there is a bedroom with two bunk beds consisting of three twins and a full. To the right is a bedroom with two twin beds, and there is a bathroom between the two upstairs bedrooms.

Group trip

Absolutely loved our stay at this house!! We had 8 friends getting together for a reunion and had plenty of space. Felt secluded enough for peaceful downtime but 5 minutes from Fish Creek and Egg Harbor which was perfect. Extra plus that cherry hut was walkable as well – listened to live music there and had so much fun. Loved the fire pit and stargazing at night. We are already planning a trip back to this house next year!

Group trip

We enjoyed our stay. Kids enjoyed walking on the mowed trail everyday. Saw deer family with fawn, monarchs, caterpillars, etc. Peaceful, private and close to everything we wanted to do in Door County. Detailed binder with check-in/out instructions, rules and ideas for the area were helpful. Plenty of room for our group of 8 people. Would stay again.

Stayed with kids

It was the perfect location for a Family vacation. So easy to find. Located in between two of Door Counties awesome towns. Loved being close to The Cherry Hut. Perfect for biking and walking adventures. The property was amazing and private. The house itself was spotless and so comfortable. Just felt right at home upon arrival. Perfect for the little kids along. Room to run and play. Great gathering space at the end of the day.

Stayed with kids

We had a wonderful almost 2-week stay in the Apple Orchard House. The decor is lovely and the house is very comfortable. We especially enjoyed walking on the mowed path and finding wild turkeys, bunnies and lots of flowers. The location is great for visiting Fish Creek, Egg Harbor, Bailey’s Harbor, Kurtz Corral, The Farm, and Sturgeon Bay shops and restaurants. The house had everything we needed, including beach towels, bath towels and lots of toilet tissue. We added paper towels and kleenex. Kitchen was well appointed and cooking was a joy. We also appreciated the backyard grill and reading in the adirondack chairs. Loved watching storms from the covered porches.

We had a wonderful stay at the apple orchard house! It was just as cute and clean as it was in the pictures, it was the perfect space for my bachelorette party. There is lots of porch space for relaxing, and tons of yard for activities! The location was perfect – right in between fish creek and egg harbor, and just a few minutes drive to both. It’s also right next to the Cherry Hut (a brewery and winery) which was awesome! The host was communicative and helpful when we had questions. We’d recommend this space to anyone looking!
