What a great vacation home! Perfect open concept for our grandkids. We loved exploring in the “jungle” – even saw a deer. Beautiful and serene setting…We pick a different vacation destination every year and this was one of our best. Love Door County and all it has to offer. Thanks for opening your home to us.
We loved the beach and even jumped in the lake although it was a bit chilly. Thank you for having us in your comfortable home. The house was perfect for two families. We filled the feeder and enjoyed watching the hummingbirds. A couple of us took bikes out for a ride and the fire pit was a lot of fun for everyone. Most of all we soaked the the peace and quiet this lovely spot has to offer. Tidy, consummately outfitted, beautiful serene setting, quiet walk to the lake, great find, thanks for having us!
We liked the beautiful house, with the lake just down the road. It is pretty much the perfect fit for us.
Up North was a perfect place for our family reunion, we spent time catching up and playing games. There are many interesting places to explore, inside and out. Ferry ride to Washington Island was beautiful, recommend Nelsen’s Bitters Bar for drink/pizza. So many great thing to see and do up here. We appreciate you allowing dogs, ours is one of the family.
Door County is God’s country! Great vacation home, color was not peak but beautiful. Great get away. Enjoyed the fireplace, and the peace and quiet.
Once you’ve come here you don’t want to stay anywhere else. It feels like home but in the woods! We’ve been here multiple times and we’ll definitely plan on coming back. There’s been so many good memories made here and hopefully many more to come. We love the peace and solitude here! Everyone needs a getaway from the crazies in life to get your batteries recharged so thanks for sharing your home with us. We’re lucky we found this piece of paradise!
What a great and fun time we had! We read enjoyed Door County and the house! We appreciate the 1010 things to do in Door County book on your shelf, it gave us some good ideas!
What Covid? Oh how we loved to quarantine here! The record high water on the beach threw us for a loop, but we can’t remember when Europe Bay Beach was better. As usual, we appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and use of the bikes in your shed. This is our 3rd stay and we do hope to come back. Thank you for sharing your property with us.
We enjoyed our time here in Door County! Thank you very much for opening up your home! We had a great time hiking, tubing, and most especially going to the beach. We definitely have made a lot of memories staying here! We would definitely come back and stay here again!
What a perfect location for a relaxing retreat! The home offered all the comforts of home and is so cozy and charming. We had great weather all week so we went biking through Peninsula State Park, went on a pontoon boat ride, took the ferry to Washington Island, and enjoyed some amazing hikes. The deck was a wonderful spot to enjoy breakfast and coffee and watch the curious hummingbirds. Thank you for an awesome getaway!
We had a great time in Door County and were happy to have a place to stay that had so much to offer. It was nice being so close to the water and Newport State Park. Doing the drive to any State Parks and main attractions in Door County wasn’t bad. We highly recommend going to the Dark Sky Park located in Newport State Park at night.
