“Harbor House” is a fifth generation family summer home located on 1.2 acres of waterfront property in Ephraim, WI. It features four bedrooms, three full baths, sleeps eight and all rooms in the house have a water view. Our family has occupied the house every summer since 1915. All of us agree the summer wouldn’t be complete without a stay in Harbor House. New docks provide a harbor for access to the water for swimming and boating. The large deck facing the water is ideal for outdoor dining, sunbathing, watching water activities, or taking a nap! Horseshoe and Chambers Island, in addition to Ephraim’s Eagle Bluff, provide the perfect backdrop for our famous, glorious sunsets. A camera is a must! We hope you enjoy your stay in our beloved home.

First Floor:
The living room/dining area and kitchen feature an open floor plan with a walkout from the living room to the deck. Included are a TV and a gas “pot belly” stove for cozy times if the weather turns cool. The kitchen was renovated in 2019 and includes stove, built-in microwave oven, refrigerator with ice maker and toaster oven. The kitchen opens to a utility room which includes new cabinets for food and storage and a washer/dryer. A hallway leads from the living room to a full size bath, which includes a second doorway to the deck for access into the house with wet swim suits. There are two bedrooms on the first floor, the first with a queen bed, and a large master suite with a king bed and full bath.
Second Floor:
There is a full bath, which leads to a second, large master bedroom with a king bed and reading alcove. This is a beautiful spot in the tree tops for some quiet time! A large family room with built in desk, game table, and TV/DVD complete the second floor.
“From the moment we drove down the driveway we have been in absolute awe of this entire property and experience. Your family has brought our family comfort, laughter, love, and joy, but most important healing from losses we endured over the past 2 years. We will be forever grateful for this space and time spent together. The history and love that has been shared by your family was felt forever by ours. We thank you and are grateful for this amazing week spent together in your beautiful home.”
“We’ve been coming to Door County for over 40 years. This was the best we have ever stayed in. The yard was perfect for our grandchildren to run in. We loved the canoe, eating on the deck and swimming in the lake.”
“We enjoyed the ever changing scenes from the deck. We’ve been coming to Door County for the past 20 years and this is our favorite place yet!”
“Our favorite thing to do by far was watching the sunsets from the deck. We can’t wait to come back next year!”
“We had a wonderful time staying in your lovely home. Hoping to come back another time – great memories. Thank you for opening your home.”
“Thank you for sharing your beautiful sun filled home. Enjoyed being on the water and watching sunsets. Appreciated understanding your family lineage as well.”
“Our family never got tired of watching the water and the waves. What a way to celebrate our Dads 60th birthday. Can’t wait to come back next summer!”
