This stately manor was originally built in 1928 by a successful Chicago attorney who used the property to delight and entertain his guests which included famous people such as Sonia Henning. Shadow Lawn has been carefully maintained and tastefully updated over the years while retaining all of it’s original character. It is an ideal venue for a family reunion, hobby group or corporate retreat providing spacious accommodations including a large sun-porch, living room, and massive fieldstone fireplace in addition to its 6 bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths. Also included is a large bunk area/game room perfect for the kids! A terrace area near the water provides the ideal venue for watching the famous Door County sun setting over the water as well as direct access to the beach.

Floor Plan Description

Enter the front door into a foyer with stairs to the upper floor on the right and the Living Room/Great Room on the left. Up the stairs brings you to a hallway with a bedroom with a Full and a Twin bed, a bathroom, and a Queen bedroom. Back in the Foyer there is a hallway to your right with a bathroom on the right and ending in a bedroom with three twin beds. On the left side of the hallway are two Queen bedrooms bookmarking a Jack and Jill bathroom. Moving through this second Queen bedroom brings you to a large shared bathroom that leads into the Bunkroom with 8 twin beds(4 bunk beds). The Bunkroom also has a half bath attached as well as exterior sliding doors for access.
The Living Room/Great Room to the left of the front door foyer leads to a 4 season porch and a spacious kitchen on the left. Towards the back of the kitchen is the laundry area and also a set of stairs leading to the master bedroom(King) and bath.
